NOTICE: You must have valid national credentials to apply for a license or apply for reinstatement to practice respiratory care in the state of west virginia.

ALL DOCUMENTS (INCLUDING RENEWAL APPLICATIONS) WITH PAYMENTS ENCLOSED must be mailed to WVBORC,
P O Box 40329, Charleston, WV 25364. 
Mailing them to the office will only slow the processing time.


DOCUMENTS WITHOUT PAYMENTS ENCLOSED may be mailed to WVBORC, 106 Dee Drive, Ste 1, Charleston, WV 25311. 

NOTICE FOR WALK-IN APPLICANTS:  Due to new processing procedures, you may bring your appication to the office but, we are no longer issuing a "same day" license.

EMPLOYERS:  If you need to verify if a practitioner has a valid license please click "verifications" and you may view or print a copy for your records.  These verifications meet the requirements mandated by JACHO. 

LICENSEES:  The "login" in the upper right corner is for office use only.

Continuing Education Reports
The new accrual period is October 1, 2012 thru September 30, 2014.  You have two years to acquire your 20 CEUS.  Licenses issued after October 1, 2012 will be prorated for the amount of CEUS required.  Licensees will be submitting copies of CEU Certificates to our office at the end of 2014 year (Nov/Dec). Your license must be renewed each year in November or December, but your CEUS are reported every two years on the even years ending.
